Why is Utahcaver.com here? Because I didn't have the time or energy to fix my original website, Jasonbx.com. I decided to let the old domain name lapse until I could devote some energy to it, planning to wait several months down the road. I was amazed by the number of emails asking what had happened to the website within days of it leaving the internet. Therefore, I decided to create a new site that was a little more focused, and see if I could improve the overall design right out of the gate.
Utahcaver.com therefore is coming online much slower than I would like, but I am hoping to minimize the need for total redesigns, and therefore keep the total quality, and interest, a bit higher.
Why do you have the advertisements? Money of course! It turns out it costs a bit to keep the domain name registered and online. The advertising goal is simply to cover the fixed costs. As an income source, it is likely going to work out to pennies per hour at best, so I will keep my day job for now. :-)
Where did the Jasonpedia come from? It is a holdout from my original Jasonbx.com website. It has slowly changed over time as many references don't make sense years after the fact. Essentially it is my own warped description of the world, and rarely touches on any sort of reality.
